Summary
Kimmy decides to date around to make sure Fernando's "the one".
D.J. snags Stephanie an important audition.
After Ethan sees Rocki they begin acting strange around each other, leaving Jackson, Max, and Ramona suspicious of what they must be hiding. So Max teams up with Steve to play detective.

- D.J. mentions that she never understood the big deal about Kirk Cameron. Kirk is Candace's real life brother.
- D.J. mentions that she's not a detective, but she's seen a lot of Hallmark Mysteries. Candace stars as the amateur sleuth title character in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries series on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
- Ethan's line "And we would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" is a line used in the Scooby-Doo franchise.
